粤甜9号为甜玉米三交种。秋植全生育期75～76天，比对照种迟熟1～2天。植株半紧凑，生长势较强，早生快发，后期保绿度较好。抗纹枯病和大、小斑病，抗倒性较强，丰产性和适应性较好。果穗圆筒，籽粒饱满，籽粒可溶性糖含量17.52%～19.03%,果皮较薄，秃顶长1.8～2.0厘米，品质较优。适宜我省各地春、秋季种植。获得粤审玉2004005。
